I am Elena Corolina and I was born on the Dominican Republic, in a neighborhood far from glamorous but somehow I always felt like a princess. After my 6th birthday I moved to the Netherlands which was completely different. A quiet village with lots of nature, bikes and almost all Dutch people, a place where we as a mixed family stood out so I always felt a bit different but never left out. My mom taught us that different was special and she gave me that extra confidence in life. She taught me: selflove.

My strong role model who introduced fashion in my life. Vogue magazines, Helena Rubenstein crèmes and Yves Saint Laurent nail polish. A mother of 3 (now 4), rocking her slim body and high heels. The combination of fashion, the models (Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer later Kate Moss) and my mom, it damaged me for life.
